Hi @James, when talking about management accounts I mean access to things like the General Ledger and Sub Ledgers, all visible at a trasactional level. Lenders do indeed use those financial inidcators for making credit decisions but we can now give them access to these in practical real time (an exchange can take typically 4-10 minutes). A huge saving over the previous process of compiling records, manual sends etc. Plus, our unique standardisation process means it doesn't matter which accounting platform they are retrieved from, the Lender gets a consistent view. We build 'connectors' (API driven) to extract the information and it does require separate ones for separate packages. Thanks.

Thanks Ambrish. My background before I moved to Validis was actually in data management and governance, although still on the marketing side. For me Governance is the bedrock that underpins an organisations entire data strategy. In the context of Management Accounts data specifically, the data belongs to the SME and any organisation that has the consent to move or analyse that data should ensure they keep that front of mind. As Open Banking gathers pace, the inclusion of "other" data assets can only add value, in my opinion.
